Individual Coaching
What is it?
These are one-on-one, hour-long, weekly sessions in person and/or on the phone. Sessions are client-centered; and, while the client sets the agenda, clients learn how to strengthen their change muscles. Coaching engagements typically last 6-12 months or longer, depending on client’s goals and objectives. Coaching assumes strength and capability, not weakness, helplessness or dependence.
How is it Different?
In contrast to mentoring – where wisdom and opportunities are imparted onto individuals -, counseling and consulting -where individuals’ problems are diagnosed and solutions rendered -, individual coaching uses relational influence to empower clients to solve their own problems. Coaching is based on the premise that the client is naturally creative, resourceful and whole and is capable of making the best choice about her own life.

These are face-to-face, hour-long, weekly, sessions. Each session centers on leveraging the employee-client’s innate talents and well being to address company-client’s key challenges. Coaching engagements typically last 12 months or longer, depending on client and company goals.
